Edibles: I have been making custom cupcakes, cake truffles and caramels for friends and family for over 15 years and I absolutely love it. I took a cake decorating class in college on a whim and it's something I never thought I would enjoy as much as I do. From start to finish, baking and decorating cakes makes me happy, and I am always up for a 'cake challenge'!
I am an "allergy-friendly" baker, which means I take food allergies very seriously. 99% of my cake production is nut-free (peanuts, treenuts), and I have made vegan/egg-free cakes as well. If you have an allergy consideration, please let me know! I am working on providing gluten-free cakes, but my caramels are a great option for those who are gluten-intolerant.
Diaper Cakes: I am a full-time mom of three young and very energetic boys. When someone gave me a diaper cake at my first baby shower, I was instantly intrigued. After using it as the centerpiece at the shower, I was able to put it on display at home until Baby #1 came along. The toys and books that came attached to it are still being used by Babies #2 and #3 today! It was one of the most unique, practical and beautiful gifts I ever received from a baby shower! I decided to make one for a friend's shower, and since then, Three Monkeys Cakery was born.
